Exhibition Opening Times
Wednesday to Monday 10am - 5pm (Closed Tuesdays)
Fridays open late until 9pm.
Special Christmas opening hours:
The Gallery will be closed on Christmas Day. Princely Treasures will open on Tuesday 27 December and Tuesday 3 January.
Both the Gallery shops, and the Café will also be open late on Fridays.
Audio Tour
A comprehensive audio tour will accompany the exhibition. Introduced by Sir Mark Jones, Director of the Victoria
and Albert Museum, London, this tour will give an insight into many of the featured works.
The cost is $8, concession $6.
Guided Tours
Join our knowledgeable Volunteer Gallery Guides on a tour of the exhibition and enrich your understanding of these magnificent works on display from London.
These free* tours are aimed at enriching your understanding of a selection of these European masterpieces and the opportunity to learn about this exciting historical period. Ask all the questions you like and discover more about the exhibition themes which include, Princely Patronage, Power and Glory, Religious Splendour, Display in the Interior, and Fashion and Personal Adornment.
(*There is no additional charge for the tour, but normal exhibition admission charges apply.)
Princely Treasures Store
The Princely Treasures Store has a fabulous collection of products and gifts inspired by the exhibition. The exhibition will be accompanied by an informative and lavishly illustrated exhibition book – a great collector’s item for the art lover.
